Backups: SyncbackSE ($30 for excellent file-based backups) ,
Cobian backup (free), Acronis Trueimage (good image-based backups),
Storagecraft (very good image based backups).
DriveimageXML - free imaging for personal use- full backups only.
Also the built in Windows 7 backup is good with single USB drives.
